In this capability he offers oversight and programmatic direction for the institution's liver, kidney, pancreas, heart, and lung transplant applications. Dr. Klein obtained his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his M.D. diploma from Johns Hopkins University. In 2000, he was appointed tenured Professor of Surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and was the founding Director of the Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Transplant Center from .
